Job summary

LHH is hiring a Junior Systems Administrator to support a healthcare technology environment. The role covers cloud, endpoint management, security, and systems administration for around 500 employees, with a largely remote workforce.

Hybrid schedule includes onsite Monday through Wednesday, with flexible hybrid options after onboarding. The compensation is up to $75,000, plus company-paid certifications and training, and career growth potential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, or junior systems administration.
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments.
• Exposure to Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with user account administration, access management, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Support cloud environments including Azure and AWS.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune-managed devices and endpoints.
• Support Active Directory / Entra ID identity management processes.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and end‑user technology issues.
• Provide Tier 1–2 support for enterprise applications and corporate technology.
• Perform system monitoring, patching, software updates, and routine maintenance.
• Support endpoint deployment, hardware provisioning, and inventory management.
• Assist with backup processes, disaster recovery activities, and technical documentation.
• Participate in security initiatives, audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance efforts.
• Work with ticketing systems to document and resolve support requests.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure and operational projects.

We are seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join a rapidly expanding IT team supporting a multi-site healthcare environment. Working alongside experienced IT leaders and engineers, you will support approximately 500 employees across a largely remote workforce while contributing to ongoing technology integration and modernization initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Assist with user account administration, access management, and employee onboarding/offboarding

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or junior systems administration
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments
• Exposure to Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management concepts
• Basic networking knowledge including:
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• DHCP
• VPN technologies
• Experience with Active Directory and user account administration
• Experience working within a ticketing system (Zendesk, Jira, Freshservice, ServiceNow, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Network+, Security+, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or similar certifications
• Experience supporting healthcare or regulated environments
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
• Exposure to PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting
• Experience administering SaaS platforms and enterprise applications
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management concepts
• Experience with macOS support and device management solutions
