You will work under senior staff to monitor, patch, backup, automate tasks with PowerShell/Bash, and participate in on‑call rotations to ensure 24/7

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, IS, or related field.
• 0-3 years in IT, systems administration, or IT operations with foundational knowledge.
• Must meet DoD 8140 requirements and hold an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer OS, user accounts, permissions, and system configurations per policies and security standards.
• Monitor, analyze logs, and perform health checks to maintain performance and capacity.
• Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to maintain compliance.
• Configure and manage backup and recovery solutions and data restoration.
• Troubleshoot server, app, and infra issues and escalate as needed.
• Use PowerShell and Bash to automate routine tasks and improve consistency.
• Support virtualization and cloud environments, including basic VM and cloud resource management.
• Maintain system documentation, baselines, runbooks, and change records.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 availability.
