Job summary

Benchmark Electronics in Winona, MN, is seeking a Test Engineer to support test processes on the production floor and during product startups. You will coordinate the installation of production test equipment and perform qualifications and characterization of test systems.

A 4-year degree in Electrical/Computing Engineering or Computer Science or related field and 0–3+ years of electronics manufacturing experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation of production test equipment.
• Perform test equipment qualifications and characterization.
• Coordinate hardware and software updates for test systems.
• Develop test programs for products.
• Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve test issues.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and calibration procedures.
• Review engineering drawings for testability.
