Job summary

The Ohio Department of Transportation in Ashland County is seeking Surveyor 1 or Surveyor 2 to support District 3 operations. You will work with seasoned surveyors and engineers and gain hands-on experience with transportation surveying projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; valid driver’s license.
• F.S exam or Surveyor Intern certificate as applicable.
• Meet Ohio Board of Registration standards for surveying.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside ODOT surveyors & engineers.
• Receive training in operation & maintenance of survey instruments.
• Gain hands-on transportation training to advance as a surveyor with ODOT.
• Conduct survey projects under the direction of a licensed surveyor.
