Job summary

Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) in Delaware County, OH, is seeking candidates for a surveying-related role. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid driver’s license, with progress toward the NCEES Surveying Education Standard hours as approved by the Ohio Board.

Experience with field data collection and plan preparation is valued. Working hours are 7:00am–3:30pm, full-time, with a competitive benefits package and OCSEA union representation.

Qualifications

  • Assist external customers by fulfilling requests for existing right of way plans and survey monumentation.

What You Will Do

Bachelor’s degree; valid driver’s license; working towards obtaining the required semester hours of surveying courses that meets the NCEES Surveying Education Standard as approved by the Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors.

  • Or accepted for Fundamental of Surveying examination (F.S) by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; valid driver’s license.
