SAM (Surveying And Mapping, LLC) is seeking a Survey Technician in Phoenix, AZ. You will support office and field staff by processing survey data and producing final deliverables, under supervision, using the latest A/E/C tech.

You’ll help increase project efficiency and client satisfaction through accurate data and adherence to SAM standards. The role emphasizes on-the-job training, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Revit, and a solid math background.

Qualifikationen

• Strong desire to learn; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit or similar application is a plus.
• Prior experience working in land surveying is a plus.
• Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Processing data utilizing SAM standards, including the evaluation of accuracy and sufficiency, all while ensuring compliance to applicable land survey project and industry principles under the direction of your supervisor
• Monitoring field crew’s production and quality assurance
• Carrying out initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices
• Coordinating with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met
