Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer I to join the SQA Interiors team. The role focuses on monitoring supplier quality performance, ensuring compliance with type design requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, operations, and procurement.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in engineering and is ready for an entry-level position. Experience with blueprints, aerospace standards, and APQP is valued, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems, or related field required.
• Entry level position; related experience acceptable.
• Understanding of blueprints and FAA quality standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are manufactured per approved quality system requirements and are certified as compliant to design.
• Audit supplier performance and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Certify suppliers and assess their quality systems and processes.
• Coordinate quality program plans, audits, and APQP requirements with Gulfstream suppliers.
• Drive the Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) process for all suppliers.
• Promote continuous improvement and APQP principles to reduce variability and improve process control.
