Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and related coursework.
• 0 to 1 year of post-education experience in electrical design.
• Familiarity with engineering laws, codes, and compliance practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection, analysis, and procurement package development.
• Support design of substations including single line and bus arrangements.
• Develop electrical calculations for sizing, grounding, and lighting.
• Create documentation using drawings and field notebooks with accuracy.
• Follow safety guidelines and project-specific procedures.
• Contribute to design reviews and comply with IEEE/NERC standards.
