Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis is required.
• 0-1 year of experience in structural engineering or related field.
• EIT preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist on high-profile projects including final design of VRE L'Enfant Station in Washington, DC.
• Perform conceptual, preliminary, and final design of bridges, retaining walls, and simple vertical structures including traffic sign and signal supports.
• Draft project details and plans using MicroStation or AutoCAD; support project management, fieldwork, and design.
