Job summary

Actalent in Naperville, IL is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to join the nation’s leading nuclear engineering firm. You’ll contribute to the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings and infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers, applying solid engineering principles to concrete, steel, and foundation work.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Coursework in structural analysis, concrete, and/or steel design (from undergrad).

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for concrete, steel, and foundations.
• Prepare detailed structural calculations under supervision.
• Develop structural models to evaluate performance, safety, and constructability.
• Produce construction documents and drawings using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
