Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects seeks an entry level Structural Building Engineer in Training (EIT/EI) to support the building design team in our Colorado Springs office. The role focuses on design calculations, plan production, and site inspections in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, EIT or FE eligibility within 12 months, and 0–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Interest in structural building design.
• Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, Microsoft Office and structural analysis/design software.
• 0-2 years of relevant structural design experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design calculations for building components (steel, concrete, foundations).
• Produce plan drawings (CAD/REVIT) and quantity development.
• Support field investigations and construction inspections.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
