Job summary

Apex Engineers, Inc. is seeking an entry-level design engineer for our Denver office to design structures across residential and commercial projects.

You will work with architects, contractors, and property owners, coordinating with MEP and civil colleagues to deliver accurate designs and plans. You will draft in Revit, occasionally using AutoCAD, and manage multiple projects from schematic design through construction administration, while keeping timelines as a priority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, architectural, or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• FE passed, or scheduled before your start date. EIT strongly preferred.
• Coursework or project experience with engineering software: Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, Enercalc, or similar.
• The ability to keep several projects moving at once without dropping deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs, plans, and calculations with teammates, clients, and other disciplines.
• Model and draft in Revit; occasional AutoCAD work.
• Review shop drawings, perform truss and i-joist certifications.
• Respond to RFIs and other construction administration questions.
• Visit sites to document findings and keep stakeholders updated on status.
