Job summary

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Structural Design Engineer focused on practical on-the-job learning to develop problem-solving skills and professional growth.

The role provides exposure to precast/concrete systems and collaboration with project teams. During training you’ll explore building assembly, client coordination, and adherence to codes, with path toward FE/PE certification and support for exam courses and fees.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering with structural coursework from ABET-accredited university.
• Passed FE exam; EIT certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Structural design of precast/prestressed concrete products and connections for large commercial buildings.
• Perform basic calculations and learn codes and standards to complete assignments.
• Check drawings and coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
• Work as part of a project team to deliver high-quality, on-time results.
• Maintain internal team needs and external client relationships.
