Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Architectural Engineering with structural coursework from ABET-accredited university.
• FE exam passed; EIT certification required upon hire.
• Ability to adjust to varying demands and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structural design of precast/prestressed concrete products and connections for large commercial buildings such as stadiums/arenas, parking garages, dormitories, apartments, etc.
• Performing basic calculations, learning codes and standards to complete assignments
• Checking of drawings, coordination with clients, architects, other engineers, general contractors
• Working as part of a project team to provide high quality and on-time deliverables.
• Maintaining internal team needs as well as external client relationships.
