Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Orlando, Florida office is seeking engineering graduates to join the Structural team in 2027. This is not a remote position.

You will work on high rises, apartments, hotels, and other structures, performing design tasks, calculations, and detailed drawings with mentorship. Opportunity to collaborate with senior engineers and participate in client-facing activities, with exposure to plan production and project coordination.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027.
• Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Working knowledge of Revit and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of vertical structures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform structural calculations and prepare drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop innovative solutions.
• Utilize structural design software and tools to produce accurate models.
• Participate in field inspections and site visits for data gathering.
