Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Vero Beach, Florida office in 2027. This is not a remote position and you will work on projects requiring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You'll gain hands-on experience with a range of software tools including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, OpenRoads, Synchro, and GIS while contributing to design, permitting, and analysis across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• Strong interest in civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
• Willingness to learn software programs and apply technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company practices.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.

Education

ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027
