Job summary

Acrisure Protection Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join our in-office team from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This non-exempt role reports to the Accounting Manager and may require evening/weekend OT as needed.

The position emphasizes month-end flux analysis, GL coding review, and journal entries, with responsibilities expanding to reconciliations, reporting, and internal control improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 2+ years accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in GAAP and MS Excel with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Supports month-end flux analysis and variance explanations.
• Reviews transactions for proper GL coding and supporting detail.
• Performs month-end close activities and prepares journal entries.
