Position reports to: - Accounting Director

1. Analyze and review costs and know GAAP.
2. Help the Accounting Manager or Supervisor with accounting issues.
3. Manage cash transaction banking files.
4. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
5. Enter journal entries for month-end close.
6. Handle accounts for service orders and Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) coding of costs.
7. Prepare and assist with monthly and yearly reports to meet regulatory requirements.
8. Prepare explanations of variances for financial directors and the accounting manager or supervisor.
9. Contribute to other projects as needed.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Excellent Excel skills, including spreadsheet creation.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
