AGC Heat Transfer, Inc. in Bristow, Virginia is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. You will support day-to-day accounting functions, helping ensure accurate financial processes across the organization.

You'll work under the Accounting Manager to process invoices, manage cash receipts, assist with month-end close, and support annual audits. This role offers growth in a collaborative environment within a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Excel and basic accounting practices.
• Experience managing administrative office functions such as filing, reporting, printing, and email communications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices, including down payments.
• Issue and maintain customer credit memos.
• Accurately record daily cash receipts.
• Prepare accounts receivable statements and assist with collection activities.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies for both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Reconcile company purchase card transactions and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with annual audit preparation by gathering schedules and documentation.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support for the Finance Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and Vice President of Finance.

As a Junior Staff Accountant, you'll play an important role in supporting the financial operations that help drive our company's success.

What You'll Do

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you'll support day-to-day accounting functions and help ensure accurate financial processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices, including down payments
