Job summary

Akraya, Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to manage FedRAMP vulnerability remediation and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure in a cloud platform. You will triage, prioritize, and automate fixes across Linux-based systems and CI/CD pipelines.

This contract role (6 months with possible extension) offers W2 employment in the San Jose area with remote work options, focusing on automation, documentation, and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.
• Strong Linux administration skills and familiarity with distributed infrastructure.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of FedRAMP vulnerability findings.
• Prioritize and triage vulnerabilities based on impact and urgency.
• Implement and coordinate software fixes through automation tools.
• Validate remediations using build artifacts and system evidence.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and automation for the vulnerability process.
