Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 6 Months with possible extension Location: San Jose, CA (Remote) Pay Range: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour

#LP Job Summary:

This role is critical for ensuring the security and stability of a FedRAMP cloud platform by managing and remediating vulnerabilities. You will take ownership of the entire vulnerability lifecycle, from identification to validated closure, while developing and maintaining automation for efficient remediation. Collaboration with various engineering teams is essential to adapt infrastructure and processes to evolving compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve security vulnerabilities across cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Automate vulnerability remediation processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and distributed systems issues.
• Design and enhance deployment pipelines and operational tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on platform improvements and compliance.

Must-Have Skills:

• Practical experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation with Ansible.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

Industry Experience:

• Experience supporting cloud-based production environments, with a focus on vulnerability management and dependency management for common programming languages, is highly preferred.
