Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a Jr. Site Reliability Automation and Orchestration Engineer in Norfolk, VA, supporting the NMCI program. The role focuses on automation, CI/CD, and SRE practices across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will design and implement Ansible playbooks, participate in release management, and provide training for automation processes, working within a distributed, agile team on a high-visibility DoD project.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience or MS with less experience.
• Active DoD secret clearance required and US citizenship.
• Ansible, Windows, and scripting (PowerShell/Python) proficiency expected.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide CI/CD, SRE engineering, and release management for NMCI-related apps.
• Automate tasks, document tests, and develop Ansible playbooks for prod migration.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer; maintain release plans and schedules.
• Support operations in both on-prem and cloud environments.
