Job summary

Leidos in Norfolk, VA seeks a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Splunk Enterprise Administrator focused on cyber support for Navy programs. You will maintain distributed Splunk across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments, monitor ingestion and search performance, and implement automated reliability tests.

Requires DoD environment experience, IAT II, and Splunk certifications; strong scripting (Python/PowerShell) and collaboration with cybersecurity and engineering teams are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience or MS with 7 years.
• Active DoD secret clearance and IAT Level II certification.
• Splunk Enterprise Admin certification or Splunk Cloud Admin cert.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and operate distributed Splunk Enterprise deployments.
• Monitor ingestion, indexing, search performance, and retention.
• Support patching, STIG compliance, and security hardening.
• Collaborate across cyber, network, and engineering teams; participate in on-call.
