BHG Financial is seeking an early-career database administration professional with a strong foundation in SQL Server to join our team. You will work on on-premises and Azure environments, focusing on health checks, monitoring, backups, and performance tuning under senior DBAs.

You will participate in scheduled maintenance, travel for onsite collaboration, and adhere to security and change-management processes while growing your technical skills and certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of database administration or related experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of T-SQL, queries, stored procedures, execution plans, and indexes.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine administration and health checks for SQL Server databases in on-premises and Azure environments under guidance.
• Monitor availability, capacity, performance, jobs, and alerts; escalate complex incidents.
• Support backup, restore, recovery validation, and migrations per documented procedures.
• Assist with user access, permissions, patching, maintenance, and security controls per standards.
