Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages food preparation for a specific area of the kitchen.
• Adheres to control procedures for cost and quality such as food production charts and standardized recipes.
• Monitors maintenance of kitchen equipment daily.
• Maintains sanitation program and daily prep lists.
• Assists in ordering food products and in budgeting objectives.
• Trains and supervises associates in preparation of menu items and operation of equipment.
