Job summary

The Club at Glenmore is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You will contribute to daily pantry, sauté, and grill preparation with a focus on presentation, quality, and taste for our members and guests.

Responsibilities include lunch and dinner production and plating, plus assisting with on-site weddings and events. The role requires weekend work, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude in a collaborative kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous fine dining experience is needed.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Ability to take direction and work as a team member.
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized.
• Commitment to quality service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, plus bend, stretch, lift, and occasionally carry heavy materials.
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays—but no late nights, the restaurant closes 8-9pm depending on the season.

Responsibilities

• Daily preparation of food items in pantry, sauté, and grill stations with emphasis on appearance, quality and taste.
• Main duties: food production and plating up for lunch and dinner.
• Assist in production and plate up for on-site weddings/events facilities.
