Radicle Health is seeking a Software Engineer to build features across the full stack with emphasis on data layer SQL Server queries and stored procedures powering .NET Core APIs and React UIs.
You will collaborate with experienced engineers, follow HIPAA guidelines, and use mocked data for development, delivering reliable code while growing technical depth and product knowledge in health services software.
Radicle Health is a collection of human services software products designed to foster collaboration and innovation, helping organizations better serve their communities. We believe technology plays a crucial role in the success of the human services sector, but no single system can meet the diverse needs of every agency. That’s why we’ve built Radicle Health as a home for mission-driven products that support organizations in delivering essential services. Under one roof, our teams learn from each other, test ideas faster, and think holistically about the individuals and communities we serve.
At Radicle Health, you'll do meaningful work alongside people who genuinely care about our mission, our customers, and each other. Here, you're free to show up as your full self, celebrating wins, having fun, and knowing you're truly part of something bigger. You will have real ownership of your work and your contributions will have a direct impact on our success. We're invested in your growth because when you grow, so do we.
As a Software Engineer, you will build and ship well-defined features and bug fixes across the full stack, with a focus on the data layer: designing, writing, and tuning SQL Server queries and stored procedures that power our .NET Core APIs and React user interfaces. You will work closely with experienced engineers, who will guide you on approach and design while you build the technical depth and product knowledge needed to take on more ownership over time.
Because we work with healthcare and human services data, good data-handling practices are also part of the job. You will be expected to follow Radicle Health's HIPAA and data-handling guidelines, including when using AI-assisted tools. Development and testing should use mocked or anonymized data rather than real customer PHI.
Early in the role, you will focus on learning our products, codebase, tools, and development process. You should be able to reliably deliver well‑defined features and bug fixes, participate actively in code reviews, and follow our practices for code quality and data handling.
As you grow, you will need less direction on approach and design. You will independently work through problems across the SQL Server, .NET Core, and React layers, notice issues in your shipped code (such as regressions and slow queries) before others do, and bring clear, well‑considered questions to the team when you need support.
Success in this role is not measured by how much code you write. It is measured by how well you understand what you are building and why, how reliably your work performs once it ships, and how much your teammates can count on you for communication, collaboration, and care with sensitive data.
