Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Jr. Software Engineer for a long-term contract in the Sunnyvale, CA area. The role offers a pay rate of $40/hr and 15 days of PTO accrued over the year, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days on site.

Responsibilities include monitoring system functionality, bug fixing, building UI for raters, and developing data pipelines and test cases to ensure robust operation of the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience debugging, fixing, monitoring and optimizing an existing system.
• Experience with middle tier development in a modern language such as Python, Ruby, PHP, GoLang, etc. (must be open to learning PHP).
• Strong understanding of SQL.
