Pinterest is seeking inquisitive university graduates to join our engineering teams in the United States. You’ll work with mentors across product, design, data, and backend engineering to learn how large-scale systems operate and contribute to new technologies and tools.

We value candidates who can explain their approach, collaborate effectively, and grow through feedback. Some roles may be hybrid or remote, with in-office collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, expected by June 2027.
• Available to start full-time between January 2027 and September 2027.
• At least one year of programming experience through internships, coursework, research, teaching, personal projects, open source, or hackathons.
• Familiarity using AI as a learning, productivity, and engineering tool.
• Strong foundation in CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++, and familiarity with frameworks like React.
• Strong communication skills and product sense; growth mindset with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver code that is well-documented, tested, and operable.
• Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end to help build the future of Pinterest.
• Take ownership of the completion, quality, and maintainability of your tasks and projects.
• Leverage AI tools in your daily engineering workflow to accelerate delivery, brainstorming, and documentation.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to build products, systems, and tools that support Pinterest.
• Proactively communicate ideas with candor and grow through feedback and development opportunities.
• Contribute to engineering work across backend, full stack, mobile, web, and security domains, depending on team.
