Job summary

Eight Eleven Group is seeking a Junior Software Engineer for a hybrid Philadelphia, PA / Mount Laurel NJ role. This contract-to-hire position targets someone with about 1+ year in AI/ML who enjoys hands-on development of AI-driven systems and infrastructure, and who is eager to build agentic AI solutions and language model applications.

You will design, implement, and deploy scalable AI components, integrate LLMs, collaborate with engineering leadership, and participate in live demos to showcase

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer who is passionate about building the next generation of AI-driven systems. This role focuses on hands‑on development of agentic AI solutions, infrastructure, and language model applications. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career (about 1+ year experience) who is deeply engaged in AI/ML, experimentation, and building systems from the ground up.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day):

• Design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications, with a strong focus on agentic systems
• Develop and support infrastructure for AI/ML workflows
• Work with and integrate large language models (LLMs) into scalable systems
• Contribute across both software engineering and systems/infra layers
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and stakeholders to prototype and deliver solutions
• Participate in live demos and technical walkthroughs to showcase your work

Core Skills (Must-Have):

• Strong foundation in software development with exposure to AI/ML
• Experience or strong interest in agentic frameworks / autonomous AI systems ((key differentiator)
• Familiarity with LLMs and language model integrations
• Experience building or supporting infrastructure for AI systems
