Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Software Engineer with a solid CS or software development background to build and maintain production code, and to support enterprise integrations. The role focuses on transitioning from VBA/AutoLISP toward modern .NET-based solutions, integrating databases, Windows infrastructure, networking, and system integrations.

CAD design experience is a plus, but this is a software engineering role focused on delivering robust software, APIs, and tooling.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1–3 years or more of professional software development experience building and maintaining production applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET in a Windows environment.
• Practical database experience with SQL Server or a comparable relational database, including queries, schema design.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows networking and server administration, including domains, permissions, services, file shares, and remote administration.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and enterprise platforms, ideally Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting for automation and system administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.

This role will strengthen our software engineering capabilities by developing and maintaining production code, integrating enterprise systems, and supporting the evolution of our internal engineering tools.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI.
• Experience with Excel automation or COM interop.
• Exposure to manufacturing, industrial controls, or electrical design environments.
• Familiarity with NEC standards or UL 508A.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into software development workflows.
• Relevant certifications in networking, SQL, Azure, or related technologies.
