Job summary

ShorePoint, LLC is seeking a Junior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to monitor security events, investigate incidents, and support containment and remediation efforts. This role requires a DOE Q clearance or equivalent DoD Top Secret clearance and involves 24/7 rotating shifts at our Las Vegas, NV office.

Ideal candidates will combine foundational cybersecurity knowledge with strong analytical skills to aid threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring across our client

Qualifications

• Foundational security knowledge and problem solving.
• Experience applying cybersecurity tools and platforms.
• Ability to interpret alerts and system behavior for threats.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and triage alerts.
• Investigate incidents and document findings.
• Coordinate with teams to contain and eradicate threats.
• Conduct post-incident analysis and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of monitoring and detection processes.
