Job summary

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, LLC is seeking a Junior Ski/Snowboard Instructor for the snowsports school. This seasonal, part-time position is open to ages 14 and up.

You will assist instructors, help groups of children learn on the slopes, and build leadership while contributing to a fun, energetic mountain experience. You will promote safety, demonstrate techniques, support the House Mouse program, and engage with kids and families in a professional uniform.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• Able to ski or snowboard at an intermediate ("blue square") level.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in teaching groups of children on the slopes
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowsports techniques clearly and enthusiastically
• Support children in the House Mouse program (indoor care for those no longer skiing)
• Provide professional, friendly interactions with both kids and families
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance in uniform (helmet, jacket, and name tag required)
• Show knowledge of Jiminy Peak's services, including lodging, food & beverage, and lifts
• Be punctual, reliable, and ready to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Uphold Jiminy Peak's mission, vision, and core values
