Job summary

Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska seeks a Junior Ski & Snowboard Pro to join the Mountain Sports School. You will teach alpine skiing or snowboarding to children and adults, focusing on on-mountain safety and a fun on-snow experience, with extensive training provided.

Responsibilities include shadowing a certified Senior Instructor, assisting in teaching, ensuring guest safety, collaborating with staff, and attending training. The role offers a starting wage and seasonal rhythm.

Qualifications

• Advanced skiing and/or snowboarding skills required.
• Graduate of the Junior Instructor Training Program preferred.
• Commitment to working 14 winter days as needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach alpine skiing or snowboarding to children and adults.
• Shadow a certified Senior Instructor and assist in lessons.
• Ensure guest safety and provide excellent service.
• Collaborate with staff and run training sessions as needed.
• Attend training and shadow upper-level lessons.
