Job summary
Leidos is seeking a Jr. Site Reliability Automation and Orchestration Engineer to support NMCI on a high-visibility DoD program. You will contribute to site reliability engineering, automation, and release management in both on-prem and cloud environments.
The role requires hands-on experience with Ansible, CI/CD, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and working within classified environments. Strong collaboration across geographies and rapid skill growth are expected.
Qualifications
- BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or MS with <2 years of relevant experience
- Active DoD secret security clearance
- US citizenship
- Ansible knowledge with Windows
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Ability to operate in classified environments and access SIPRNet from NMCI locations
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
Responsibilities
- Automate routine tasks, document tests, and maintain CI/CD procedures
- Develop Ansible playbooks and test in non-production, migrate to production
- Support release management planning and scheduling
- Create work instruction materials for automation and orchestration processes
- Provide training on substantive technological changes
