Job summary

Dewberry is seeking an entry-level Site/Civil Engineer to join our Site/Civil department in the Mt. Laurel, NJ office to work on projects for clients in the commercial and renewable energy sectors.

The role involves site/civil development including grading, roadway design, storm water management, and preparing calculations and construction documents as part of a collaborative project team. Ideal candidates will have 0-4 years of experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• 0 - 4 years of experience; internship preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Solar experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
• Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
• Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
• May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
