Job summary

Dewberry in Parsippany, NJ is seeking an Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our Site / Civil department on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial site development projects. You’ll work with a team of professionals and help apply the latest technology to solve design challenges.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Office, contribute to grading, storm water, and roadway design, and collaborate with colleagues on permitting, reports and calculations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• 0–4 years of experience is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Solar experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
• Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
• Work on design teams to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
• May conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
