Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully obtain a CI Polygraph
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops applicable)
• Experience with MATLAB signal processing capabilities
• Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter who can partner with multiple teammates
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply software tools in MATLAB to calculate metrics like SNR, optical blur, sensor motion, collection quantity, circular error, and atmospheric impacts
• Organize results in database products, software packages and PowerPoint slides and present findings to stakeholders
• Learn and develop understanding of MATLAB code/scripts used to model electro-optical system components
• Set up and execution of MATLAB-based models, reviewing and error checking results
• Be accessible to senior engineers, customers and stakeholders to answer questions and report on progress
• Carry out assignments using standard engineering processes for research, design, development or analysis
• Plan, direct and coordinate engineering functions in design, development, installation, testing and integration
• Direct or conduct research studies for improvement or reconfiguration of systems
• Serve as customer interface and organizational consultant on significant technical issues
• Assist in preparing technical reports and proposals; may participate as team member
• Perform all other duties as assigned
