Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Junior Developer - ServiceNow to act as the technical owner of Acrisure’s ServiceNow environment. You will support the development, configuration, testing, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform while collaborating with senior developers, administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of experience with ServiceNow development and administration.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
• Create and modify forms, tables, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and catalog items.
• Support development of Service Catalog requests, record producers, and automated workflows.
• Configure notifications, approvals, and integrations under guidance from senior team members.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and resolving platform issues.
• Monitor platform performance and assist with routine maintenance activities.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades and patch testing efforts.
• Document configurations, technical specifications, and development procedures.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, governance, and best practice.
• Work with business stakeholders and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with system administrators and other developers to delivery platform enhancements.
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Follow change management and release management processes.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and organizational standards.
