Livermore Ford Lincoln Alfa Romeo Maserati is seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our Service Department as an Entry‑Level Service Advisor Trainee / Porter. This role is designed for someone starting a career in automotive service with hands‑on training and mentorship to grow into a Service Advisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with vehicle check-in and service lane organization.
• Move customer and dealership vehicles safely throughout the property.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive and customer waiting areas.
• Deliver completed vehicles to customers and assist with vehicle pick-up.
• Perform vehicle walk-arounds and basic inspections.
• Assist technicians and service advisors with daily operations.
• Shuttle vehicles as needed.
• Support the service team in providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Learn dealership service processes and procedures.
• Shadow experienced Service Advisors.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and customer communications.
• Learn how to create repair orders and document customer concerns.
• Develop knowledge of maintenance recommendations and repair services.
• Learn manufacturer maintenance schedules for Ford, Lincoln, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati vehicles.
• Build communication and sales skills necessary to become a Service Advisor.
