Job summary

Dunhill Government Solutions is hiring a Security Engineer (Junior) to provide security engineering and sustainment support for a federal agency's cyber forensic enterprise network, across data center locations, transitional locations and cloud environments. This on-site role is based in Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure, handling change requests, documenting procedures, managing vulnerabilities, and ensuring changes are approved by senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in security engineering.
• On-site work in Ashburn, VA; no telework; core hours 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and engineer the forensic network infrastructure throughout its lifecycle.
• Use change-request process to identify priorities, process tickets, and track progress.
• Document operating procedures and processes for security operations.
