Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Junior SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions across the SAP landscape. You will deliver enhancements, integrations, reports, and forms, troubleshoot defects, and collaborate with functional teams through the delivery lifecycle.

The role requires 4+ years IT experience, SAP ABAP knowledge, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Some international travel may be needed; the position supports testing, deployments, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area.
• 4+ years related IT experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude and adaptability.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
• 1-2 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Exposure to SAP Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms desirable.
• Understanding of SAP basics: development lifecycle, transports, debugging.

Responsibilities

• Lead or co-lead complex IT project tasks delivering business results on deadlines.
• Perform system analysis and identify technology/process gaps; recommend improvements.
• Develop and implement new technologies/services; report status to stakeholders.
• Translate functional specs into technical solutions and ABAP objects.
• Collaborate with functional/technical consultants during configuration investigations.
• Support unit testing, defect fixes, and assist in UAT/deployments.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to team members.
