Nashville Rowing is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Juniors program to help grow participation and develop rowing skills. You will work with the Varsity Head Coach to implement daily practice plans and ensure safety and consistency across all Junior boats.

The role emphasizes teaching a uniform technique, monitoring performance, and supporting regatta planning and team cohesion. A strong focus is placed on recruitment and attendance management to support program growth.

Responsibilities

• Implement consistent practice plans with the Varsity Head Coach on a daily basis.
• Ensure the Juniors program is taught with a uniform rowing technique aligned with top boats.
• Monitor rower performance and provide coaching feedback to improve success rates.
• Assist with regatta planning, lineups, and team logistics.
• Supervise loading/unloading and driving the trailer as needed.
• Support recruitment efforts for the Juniors program and track attendance.
