Central Rock Gym in Orlando is looking for an Apprentice Route Setter to assist the Head and Assistant Setters in the route setting process. This is a hands-on learning opportunity to develop the foundational skills required for a professional setting role.

The role includes responsibilities such as setting holds, maintenance tasks, and competition support. Candidates must have climbing experience and be comfortable working at heights. A flexible schedule is preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule with early morning and afternoon availability.
• 2+ years of climbing experience preferred.
• Ability to work at heights of 40+ feet and on ropes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting, stripping, cleaning, and organizing holds.
• Follow the explicit direction of the Head Setter.
• Support competition setup and teardown.
