Job summary

Central Rock Gym in Buffalo, NY is looking for an Apprentice Route Setter. In this role, you will assist the Head and Assistant Setters with the route setting process and gain foundational skills required for a professional setting role.

Your responsibilities include setting and cleaning holds, working at heights, and supporting safety procedures. Ideal candidates will have climbing experience and be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of climbing experience preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights of 40+ feet.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting, stripping, cleaning, and organizing holds.
• Forerun and set routes up to 5.12 and boulders up to V6+.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
