Job summary

Semper Solaris is seeking an installer/technician to conduct on-site roof surveys for replacement projects and to serve as the customer’s main contact on installation day. You will greet customers, set expectations, and keep them informed.

Responsibilities include auditing material deliveries, enforcing OSHA roof-safety standards with subcontractors, coordinating additional materials, and managing 2–3 roofing jobs per day with daily travel from the El Cajon office.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (daily driving).
• Strong customer-service instincts and clear communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized across multiple job sites in a day.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

• Serve as the customer's main point of contact on installation day: greet them, set expectations, and keep them informed.
• Audit material deliveries for completeness the morning of each install.
• Enforce OSHAroof-safetystandards with our roofing subcontractors (paid training and certification provided).
• Source and coordinateadditionalmaterials as needed during installation.
• Pick up surplus material after each job and return it to the supplier.
• Manage 2 to 3 roofing jobs per day, keeping each one moving and every customer happy.

What We're Looking For

Compensation & Schedule

• $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
• Full-time, based out of our El Cajon office with daily travel to job sites across the branch.
