Job summary

Fairwinds Technologies, LLC is seeking an entry-level Test Engineer to verify RF, embedded, and mixed-signal products. You will plan tests, configure equipment, collect data, and analyze results across internal development and customer-funded contracts.

You will work with teams across test, RF, DSP, FPGA, and software areas to execute verified test programs and deliverables while adhering to procedures and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (completed or expected).
• Entry-level engineering role focused on test verification of RF, embedded, and mixed-signal products.
• Ability to follow controlled procedures and document observations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Translate product, system, and customer requirements into test objectives, methods, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports with traceability.
• Configure and operate lab equipment, radios, embedded systems, and RF components.
• Execute functional, performance, regression, and environmental tests per procedures.
• Collect and analyze test data to assess signal quality, frequency response, and system stability.
• Create scripts to automate equipment control, data collection, and plotting.
