Job summary

Techner Ltd. is seeking a Junior RF Engineer to grow within the wireless engineering field in the United States. You will assist with RF design, coverage mapping, drive testing, and KPI monitoring as part of a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in EE/Telecom and familiarity with RF concepts and tools. Internship or co-op experience with major carriers is a plus. This is a full-time, long-term contract role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of LTE/5G concepts, RF propagation, and cellular systems.
• Familiarity with RF tools such as Actix, TEMS, Nemo, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RF design and planning, including coverage mapping and propagation analysis.
• Support drive tests, data collection, and log analysis.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and assist with troubleshooting network issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on parameter audits, neighbor planning, and cluster optimization.
• Document findings and help prepare performance and engineering reports.
• Learn and apply industry-standard RF tools and processes.
