Ideal candidates are outgoing, fluent in English, and possess strong hospitality and communication skills. A professional appearance, CRS and MS Office proficiency (Excel/Word), and at least one year in a similar role are expected; prior cruise or hotel

Responsabilités

• Greet guests at the podium and escort them to their assigned tables.
• Present menus and wine lists and provide the Guest Information Ticket to the Team Head Waiter/Waitress.
• Engage with guests through friendly conversation and assist with any concerns.
• Remain available at the podium to welcome and seat late-arriving guests.
• When assigned to Lido, interact with guests and provide assistance as needed.
• Receive training on SilverWhere and podium operations during YTD Dinner.
• Assist the Sr. Asst. Maitre D’ / Maitre D’ with reservations during embarkation.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Host regarding Bon Voyage gifts and special dietary requirements.
• Monitor restaurant operations and support teams when needed to maintain smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Escalate unresolved guest concerns or service issues to the Sr. Asst. Maitre D’ / Maitre D’.
• Use SilverWhere to assist with table assignments and seating queries, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Be familiar with the CRS system and report incidents, guest issues, accidents, and service complaints to the Sr. Asst. Maitre D’ / Maitre D’.

The Junior Restaurant Host is responsible for providing a warm and welcoming dining experience by greeting and seating guests, assisting with reservations, and supporting daily restaurant operations. The role requires regular interaction with guests, handling seating requests and concerns, and coordinating with the restaurant team to ensure smooth and efficient service. The ideal candidate is friendly, confident, professional, and guest-focused, with strong communication, hospitality, and problem-solving skills and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent guest service.

• Well-groomed and compliant with Carnival appearance standards.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, cruise line, or airline.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
