Job summary

Wipro Givon USA is seeking an entry level Inspector to perform first-article and final inspections of machined and sheet metal parts and assemblies. You will verify conformance to drawings and specifications and support quality assurance activities in a fast-paced shop.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of inspection experience, strong measurement skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Position offers 4x10 shifts, competitive pay, benefits, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret aircraft drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively before groups.
• Ability to work with probability and statistics, geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform geometric and positional dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to use on-line data systems and precision measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Performs first part, in-process, first article, and final inspections using precision instruments.
• Performs receipt inspections of raw material and standards using precision tools.
• Processes NCRs and DMRs including data entry and paperwork.
• Performs functional testing of assembled components as required.
• Reviews work orders and documentation for accuracy and legibility.
• Ensures material traceability and certifications meet requirements.
• Interprets engineering drawings and process specs to verify compliance.
• Uses on-line data systems to verify customer data and status.
